Hotel Principe di Salina

If I could rate a 10 out of 5 I would!! This Hotel is top notch! They personally greet you on arrival & welcome you with a cold drink while you overlook the spectacular views. They offer a fresh complimentary breakfast with eggs, bacon, fresh sourdough, homemade jams and yogurt as well as fruit and baked treats. So yummy! We stayed for 6 glorious nights and ended up eating every supper there as the food was unbelievably tasty! It’s beautifully decorated and not a detail was missed. There is a happy hour in the afternoon where you can mingle with other guests. The staff know everyone by name and make you feel like you’re the only guest in the hotel, attending to every request. The owner Anita is like no other & she made the stay extra memorable. She organized scooter rides, a boat tour and told us about the best places to go. The principe will have a place burned in our hearts forever & we look forward to a return trip!!

Believe the reviews, this place really as good as the reviews indicate. Honestly Principe is an absolute dream. The service, the setting, the decor, it’s just perfect, one of the best places I have ever stayed. The food is incredible, whether at breakfast (with fresh baked bread and even bagels!), the amazing lunches by the pool or the dinners tht are the stuff of legends. The service is incredible too, so kind, courteous, and personal. Anita, her parents and the whole team are just (I should probably get a thesaurus out at this point) incredible! Salina itself is possibly one of the most magical places I have ever been. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

I have been lucky enough to stay at Hotel Principe di Salina twice, in 2019 and 2023 for my birthday. The staff could not be more helpful, thoughtful and efficient. The rooms are spectacular and the location is perfect for exploring Salina. The food is also amazing from the breakfast banquet, lunchtime pool bar options and dinners. They were kind enough to give me my own private dining space on my 50th birthday which I will never forget. Looking forward to returning very soon.

As so many reviewers have written, if we could give Principe di Salina more than 5 stars we would. My husband and I spent 5 magical days at Principe di Salina mid October 2023. After a few weeks visiting with wonderful family members from England to Italy we planned time alone together in Salina to savour our recent visits. By the time we left Salina we felt like we had found a new family to cherish. From father, Francesco, picking us up from and back to the marina, to mother Sylvana cooking splendid meals for dinner and offering us a Sicilian cooking lesson, to daughter Anita making us feel so welcomed and cared for and her husband, Filipo baking the most delicious sourdough bread and a gluten free version for my husband, we felt adopted into this charming, passionate and intelligent family. Our room was comfortable, romantic with a lovely private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, the pool was beautiful and welcoming with inviting sunbeds and comfy chairs, elegant blankets and towels. The most delightful dining table stretched out on an open terrace with flowers and candles quickly helped us to decide that we would eat dinner there every night. Not only was the wine and food incomparable to anywhere else in Malfa but the opportunity to connect with the like minded folks we met from all over the world and make lovely new acquaintances was irresistible. We are telling all our friends about this perfect gem and dreaming about our next trip back.
